Well...here's the specs on my toys:
Camaro:
She's a 1991 with the optional RS package. Other than having that package she pretty much has no options (better for racing right ;) ). As of right now she still has the factory 305 with a set of headman 1 3/4 headers and a pacesetter cat back system. The thing is that i dont have a cat because my headers a standard "under the cowl" headers. They arent shorty's so I couldn't use my factory pipes...dang. Fortunatly I have a Chevrolet 327 sitting in my carport out of a 1969 Impala along with a brand new Edelbrock Performer intake and a pair of Chevy vortec heads. (the heads and intake are in the garage not on the 327 yet.) With this many toys and not much money it's taking me a while to get it like i want it. Oh yeah, and I've got an eight inch bazooka tube powered by a two channel Jensen amp. I hate when people's mods to their car consist soley of stereo equiptment so I will leave it at that.
*****Update***** April 2003
I finally got the 327 into the camaro. The thing is though that I ended up putting a 350 crankshaft in to get the extra cubes and save a little money on the rebuild kit. So as of now it's got...
-1969 327 block w/350 crank
-1996 Vortec heads with three angle valve job
-Speed Pro Hypereutectic (sp?)flat top pistons
-Fel-Pro shim head gaskets to up the compression ratio (0.39 inchs thick)
-Comp Cams X-treme engergy XE-262H cam
-Rochester 750 cfm Q-Jet
-Moroso 6 quart deep sump oil pan
-Clevite 77 rod, cam, and main bearings
-Headman Street full length headers
-3 inch pacesetter exhaust
-3.42 gears to replace the sad 2.73's
-SLP takeout posi unit
Dune Buggy:
She's the most stuborn and posibly the most fun of my collection of junk (my toys). I bought the dune buggy from a guy that had kinda let it go to waste for . Shortly after we bought it the engine locked up (spun a rod bearing) it was ok cause we (me and my dad)rebuilt the whole engine and had it running great. Well after that i blew out the transaxle climbing up a pipline trail. Fixed that. Then I broke the rear spring plates jumping it (check for video on other page). But her specs are as follows. She's got a 1600 cc dual port VW engine and swingaxle transaxle out of a 1965-1969 VW mini-bus. She's got a set of 31x10.50 mud kings in the back and some cheap tractor tires in the front. Got 4 KC's, (2) 150 watt 6 inch sealed beams on top, (2)100 watt 6 inch standard with H-3 bulbs in middle , and two off-brand chrome 6 inchers with 55 watt bulbs up front. I have a 102" whip on back along with a Radio shack cheap CB, and a custom rack that I designed.
Jeep:
I bought the 1985 Cherokee from a Rusian guy while I was on my senior trip to Panama City Beach, FL for bucks. She's got the wonderful 4 cylinder that everone loves along with the 5 speed manual transmission. I immdiatley put the posi-loc front axle modification right after I bought it to insure reliable 4wd. Surrounding the Aluminum wheels I have a worn out set of 30x9.50 BFG mud-terrians. In the back you will see the lights that I put in the hatch. I think their pretty dang swift. I can't take the credit for the idea though, it came from a guy on another website in a bunch of misc. pics. They all make for a good time...
*******Update*******
The jeep is now "riding high" on Hi-tech retread 31x10.50's and a fruit cocktail lift.
I put V-8 ZJ coils with 2" spacers from Rockyroadoutfitters.com in the front with the sway bars now removed. For shocks I have Procomp ES-3000's. In the rear I got a 2.5" lift block off of an old Dodge truck with YJ bottom left springs to give me about 1.5". Total I have a pretty healthy 4" lift. Tonight I am going to do a little fender triming so that I wont lose those retreads when it comes time to do a little flexing. I will be adding a lockrite to the back here very soon and will hopefully (if all goes well) attend NAXJA's run up at tellico in July. I will add pics just as soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera.
****UPDATE****** (11/21/05)
Sold the Cherokee. Bought a Nissian PU 4x4. I'll put pics up soon.
Sold the Dune Buggy. The thing broke down all the time but it was fun when it was running.
